SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed about the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to website service the area on a daily basis. The company issue produced for intervention experiences a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
